Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

If you have options, why are you still here?

I understand people like me who are stuck for whatever reason not leaving Honeywell, but what about those who have options but decide to stay? Honeywell has not lost all of its best talent yet and why that's the case is a mystery to me. What's keeping you here? I know it's not the pay or benefits and it can't be the company culture. So what is it?

As someone who didn’t think, at my age, I had options - happy to say I did. Great options! And I took one. Could not be happier.

Bye to Honeywell. But sorry for my friends, my wonderful coworkers who remain. But I had enough of being taken advantage of.

Nobody who has options is still at honeywell.
Grey retired in place and hoards of no nothing fresh out puppies.

I’m not.
I stop by here just because Honeywell treated me so badly I don’t want to miss any opportunity to tell everyone from current workers to potential customers how I feel.

Honeywell has been going down hill for the last 30 years due to poor management. Too many disgruntle employees.

It is endearing that you believe Honeywell still employees some of the best talent. Reminds me of being a high school senior, valedictorian of my class, so proud of that honors college spot. Had to leave my home town to understand that I was a no talent hick who had to settle for engineering.
Grow up. You aren’t all that. You will never know until you move and move again.

Indeed run before it is too late. Just dare to resign. That’s all. I did the same and my wife is most happy. Less daily irritation regarding stupid Honeywell decisions and strategy. More money.

They're pot committed in the poker game of their career. Once the hand is lost, they'll wake up and smell the sewage being dumped on them from upper management. It's the catalyst they need to get out.
