Just beat the to it. Start looking for a new job and secure your own future, don't leave it to a company that just considers you another number.

You're correct, OP. Don't they see the hypocrisy of dangling layoffs over our heads for years, and then talk about mental health? Our higher-ups are sick and twisted. Just like donating millions to food banks, dei projects, when they lay off thousands? How many of laid off employees committed su----e down the road? Spare me their Teamworks mebtal health bs.
This post is ridiculous. No matter what company you go to, there will always be layoffs. Getting rid of low performers is key to higher better and fresh talent. If you don't want layoffs, go to a mom and pop shop.
They cause all of this stuff and then try to “fix” it in ways that just increase the stress. I’m not participating in their madness. Hopefully future generations will look back on this insanity and see it for what it was.
