OP here, I have nothing against Cheryl, wish her success and help lead the company to a better place.
She has 20+ years with the company and worked on network and broadband technology and products. I hope she is prepared for role, and will come across creditable to her direct reports and working level. Most of us in network has very low tolerance for flowery language and fluff, we certainly don’t need another Stankey know it all, or self promoting identity politics fanatic. Titles aren’t the same as expertise or leadership, let’s how she does.
Maybe they have learned she can’t treat people decently if you are different than her. In a town hall she said the Supreme Court wont have enough diversity till its 100% female. She is one angry *.
Can’t wait to see all the knowledge she brings to the org about fiber, construction, engineering. 😂
