Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

How big are these layoffs?

How many have been cut in this round of layoffs, does anyone have any insight?

Manager here, got laid off today. I poured my heart and soul into this company, defending it even when the company was screwing everyone over and now I am jobless. Always have a backup plan friends... you never know when your world will come crashing down around you :(

I think the point of the original comment in dispute is "are you financially prepared if you get laid off"? Commenter offered a positive statement and how she is prepared. Take a chill pill and stay on point.

Don't like Dave's program don't listen to it. This is still America.

And I have the right to say his advice is terrible and he's a discriminatory PoS. The whole "this is America" line works both ways.

Unless you have no self-control over expenditures and literally need someone bossing you around to get you to stop going into debt, then there are a lot better people to listen to for financial advice.

Gee, I followed Dave Ramsey's advice during the shutdown, and I'm now debt free.

Dave Ramsey did not fire thousands of people for not getting and experimental vaccine.

Incidentally, this means a company can fire you for not complying with its moral turpitude policies.

Also, I follow most but not all of Dave's principles and am very healthy, wealthy and much wiser because of it. Don't like Dave's program don't listen to it. This is still America.

Imagine listening to Dave Ramsey for financial advice. Same guy that discriminated against one of his employees for being pregnant out of wedlock.

He's a religious kook telling people not to have credit cards at all and pay everything with cash. Unless you have no self control at all, his advice is generally terrible.

Difficult to track. Layoffs have been small batches to avoid WARN reporting.

CEO MS and the ELT has been noticeably quite the last few months. In my experience this is a precursor to dramatic changes and significant RIF.

Just my thoughts but I am definitely getting the "layoff is coming" vibe and I'm fine with that as I have a 12 month emergency fund in place and am debt free (thank you Dave Ramsey)
