I suspect that there will only be around 3-5% more of the payroll reduced. I don't think T can reduce any more than that since T offers more services than its competitors and needs the manpower to provide it! That's only 6-10k more people off payroll. If T can get down to around 185-190k people, I think it'll be in good shape for starters. Just my 2 cents! I've been around this company for 4 decades and seen a lot of carnage, so I have a pretty good perspective!
Make sure you have your box ready to pack your stuff. The cuts will be rolling downhill. Expect many friends, family members and colleagues to be looking for employment elsewhere. This ship is taking on water and won't be afloat for too much longer.
These cuts are easily 5 years too late.
These things always affect the folks in trenches
They now will be forced to pay for their own luxury cars and gas!! Each walks away with millions and a benefit rich health plan.

There will be no impact to the day-to-day business with all the executives leaving. Just sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch musical chairs unfold. Seriously, at this point who really cares.
I’m sure it part of the plan to flatten and widen the company structure. Less mgmt levels and more groups.
Duh! It has been over 6 months..we WAY over due for another major reorganization..
Cuts will continue and start moving down.
