I think a lot of people who worked directly for her would disagree with your points! She was a sociopath that destroyed a lot of really good peoples lives and careers. She was famous for mistreating her direct reports and hanging out with people four levels below her. She loved power and praise and seeing as she could not get that from directs she went four levels down. Pitiful!

I totally agree Scott was an amazing leader. He really cared about people and the well being of them and their families. I also agree he left Veronica Bloodworth in that position waaaaay too long. The things she did to people that worked for her were ruthless, out of line and just horrific. The reason she behaved like this was to shadow on her incapabilities. A lot of people are glad she is gone!
Scott was a great person who cared about the people under him. He was also a really good leader! If I could give Scott one red check mark is why did he leave Veronica Bloodworth in the position as long as he did. She was beyond incompetent and a complete sociopath. She was beyond ruthless with the people who worked for her. He did finally fire her but it took a lot longer than needed.
Scott insisted that employees are family, specially during layoffs.
