The reason that was given, "they want to address answers by name to the person asked" and "they want to distill a feeling that there will not be retaliation to anyone asking questions".

This is the full text as to why no anonymous questions are allowed. It seems like there is no option not to associate your question with your name.
In an effort to improve our culture of candor and connection, we are adding a new personalized option to the Inquire tool. This enables participants to engage with the platform in a more intimate and transparent way. When this option is selected, participants will have the ability to associate themselves with their questions, and leaders will have the ability to address question askers by name when providing responses. The goal of this change is to align to our "Act Boldly" culture pillar and increase our practice of candor and transparency and ultimately enhance our culture of psychological safety (where people feel comfortable speaking up without fear of reprisal). This is intended to be one step in our cultural transformation journey and will be done in conjunction with other cultural changes.
Maybe have someone who doesn't care about retaliation submit all the questions as a proxy.
