Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

2022 RIF

Man, It's been at least a day and a half since I've seen anyone falsely predict a layoff this quarter. Or the next, or the next.... Ya'll okay out there?

It's HW.....RIF aka cost savings. It's etched in the MM pkaybook. He is not smart enough to improve efficiency or drive improvement so it always comes to RIF. Too bad he didn't empower or trust anyone to actually run their piece of the company, instead he has surrounded himself with yes people just collecting their pay and bonus....all for horrific performance.

The RIF monster always strikes when you least expect it. He is the grim reaper and always lurking about. Leave now while you still can.

@1zaw MM has help coming this week from Charlotte. DA will tell him how to do it and doesn't want MM pull the usual shutdown of RDE at the end of the pending disaster that is Q2. Let the exodus continue!

The VOE survey is the solution and more group hugs to show you belong. That will stop the attrition, which is how mm sees it. Oh wait, if the survey shows anything above 50%, all is well.
Mm and execs have not got a clue why people are leaving, as they themselves are happy with their pay and bonuses. They do recognize their pay and bonus are worlds apart from us working at the ground level. Wow 3.5% raise yay. Less than 100% mips is a slap in the face, aa they set impossible targets
Blue Origin, Garmin have set up shop here in the center of universe, Phx and offering huge bump in pay. No contest. Join the exodus. I am out

RIF? Wouldn’t need that cause people are willingly leaving Honeywell for better prospects. MM has been shuddering and is said to be making an announcement soon regarding the RDE cuts making engineers feeling nervous and jumping ship all together. Corridors of power has whispered that MM is so anxious with the big exodus of workers leaving Honeywell that he’s been instructed by DA to stop any action on reducing census for the time being. If only MM would listen to anyone other than himself

No RIFs needed this year. People are RIF'ing themselves at an astonishing rate.

As a bit of truth and not to add as a (you're wrong on RIF's). We are losing a minimum of 4 of 25 in one department and 12 out of 60'ish. This is due to mandates and others leaving, feeling that the company no longer is following good decision making for their talented employees. A RIF is not needed when managers and hourlies leave and no severance is paid. The new hires are jokes and have no ability to learn the correct ropes from their ladder climbing managers

The 2022 rif is being done by honeywell customers as they cancel and ghost the salesmen.

The great of RIF of 2022 is already going on: the mass exodus of personnel that are firing Honeywell by leaving for better opportunities.

Maybe people are beginning to realize high attrition is replacing the need for layoffs.
