AT&T needs to change its name to reflect a vision of the 21st century. It’s not a phone company, it is a communications/data company. It also needs a leadership that has a world vision and overwhelming technical skills!!

No to moving forward. Gonna keep looking back and complain about it.
I would agree with the idea of a name
change. Our name is not synonymous with technology. The younger generations see it asan antique. I would say most people do not associate Verizon with Bell Atlantic. But Verizon is a well known, updated name that people associate with wireless service. Change the name and move forward, not backwards.
How about T - Bagged.
How about CLUSTER FLUKE
How about "Stankrizon?"
Maybe we can just change it back to lowercase, since we're no longer a Fortune 10?
Should CVS change their name because they’re more known for pharmacy now instead of “consumer value store”
What about Geico because they’re no longer just the government employee insurance co.?
It’s “better” for a brand to be known and hated by some than completely unknown. The name will probably live in longer than all of us.
Just look at Comcast, just because they changed to Xfinity, still is one of the most hated companies in the country. What is in a name?
Stupid idea
SWBT paid an arm and a leg for the at&t name, when they bought the company to keep them out of bankruptcy.
No way. If you are unhappy with the company name of at&t, go start your own company.
