Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Isn't it high time to get rid of useless management?

I've never worked for a company with these many levels of uselessness. Managers reporting to managers, who report to more uselessness. You need one director with frontline managers reporting directly. These old time, useless management class is so expensive and clueless. All they do attend meetings. They have never added a quality comment to any project or effort. They've been working for the bank so long and never earning their pay. The managers of managers should have been fired decades ago. These people are a complete waste of time and space. Welcome to nimble teams.

Well said, @4vii+1g8XDc3u!

Not going to happen. Based on my experience, there's a company culture that the way to success is through having meetings. There are managers that spend so much time in meetings, they've added managers so the work gets done then drag them into endless meetings.

Long since time but they are entrenched and systematically get rid of anyone who figures them out.
