Upper Management Layoffs A Big Ruse In CBB

Big announcements about upper level Layoffs. Everyone is concerned, think it's about time, cut the fat. Funny thing only 10 to 15 are actually affected. The number of new jobs posted almost matches the number of jobs "eliminated". Think about it.

My business leader was let go, best manager I had. Market leader axed who went to the branches and put in a lot of effort. I’m a top performer and this company will lose a ton of employees I’ve had 8 different managers in 5 years. I gotta dip out.

What is considered "upper level?" VP in our area is middle management, not senior or upper. Just wondering how many down from Andy we're talking since titles don't really mean anything.

I completely agree. Our VP celebrated his 30th anniversary at USB. The next day they fired him— completely blind sided. Best manager I’ve ever had. The following day they send out an email with three open positions. So— why couldn’t our VP taken on that role instead of firing him?? Our entire department is SHOOK.
