Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

There was talk about May layoffs

Does that mean this week is it, since I don't think anything major happened so far?

Does not surprise me that SPS continues to have problems. They're too cheap to actually fork out the money for solutions that have already been approved and made directors' HPD goals. Solutions that could at best keep the SBG marginally competitive, since making an investment to get out ahead of the competition would never be approved. Much easier to reduce headcount to make up the difference.

Once the inevitable recession hits, there will be layoffs. I am already hearing about layoffs in other companies. It is the next economic cycle after high inflation.

@2qgu SPS and an acquired company. Honeywell has destroyed the management of this company and driven away many experienced engineers and managers. With the BIG bucks that the leaders get in total compensation, you'd think they'd be respectful of those that enable them to continue receiving their extreme compensations.

I've just heard of 2 support types get let go. They both had years of experience and were well respected. Hwell would need to be moving now to help out the second quarter so that the execs can keep getting their outrageous bonuses. I'd say let's wait to see how this week ends up.

Must have been in safety products? The war machine is cranking so aero should be okay for a while. Oil is booming.. or at least will be as countries other than US wise up and start drilling and building their own refineries.
