Perhaps a radical rethinking of top-heavy structure is needed here. I personally think it would be a breath of fresh air for this company if it were to reduce the number of all these useful managers. Maybe there are good reasons for Anthem having a top-heavy management structure but I don't understand those reasons?

I agree these are the people to cut
Most of the VPs , SVPs , Directors , Managers are not even capable of doing Analyst kind of work. Anthem wasting millions for these blood suckers. they know only one thing "Sitting on the reporting resources nuts"
What is UP with all of these business change directors, SVPs & RVPs that do nothing?! Absolutely nothing. Except IM their team leads & take credit for the answers they give them. I'm sick of seeing this!!!
There's a select few that know what they're doing & it seems they just get dumped on :(
Those are the ones that didn't walk in the door w/ a degree, absolutely clueless how the industry runs. They're the ones that started from the bottom & worked their ways up, learning priceless information along the way. We're getting WAAAAY too top heavy w/o enough knowledgeable & experienced leadership. It's unfortunate.
After the name change they will cut people.
Yes, too many Directors directing nothing. I have seen SVP reporting to SVP. Can't make this thing up
