This actually happened/happening. 2 people left/laid off, Management hires back 4 to do the job 2 had before. That is bad enough management, but here is the kicker, pays new hires literally twice as much as the departed employees😳. How on earth does a manger justify such a move? Worse yet the four new employees have been given no instructions or leadership to do the job, simply told they want results. Other employees find out about wage disparity (salary posted) and 2 more quit for better paying jobs. Manager now panicking since nothing is being done and can’t blame anyone else for this fiasco.
Literally went from paying 2 people about 180K to paying 4 people 480K and losing all technical expertise due to wage disparity. A Breathtaking level of managerial incompetence.
How this company is still in business is a complete mystery.
