Time to do peer reviews

Either lie about them to make everyone look good or back stab to make yourself look better. Makes for great employee relationships

Quantum is the worst piece of software I've ever seen HR use. The Quantum peer reviewing makes one come up with something negative about a co-worker. You don't know if it is a serious piece of advice or something to fill in the mandatory box. I got one comment that I was too smart essentially and I'm pretty sure which co-worker wrote it so it ruined my subsequent work relationship with that person.

It says it's optional so I'm not even doing mine.

Just had to give my Supervisor a review and of course, nothing changes as a result of what or how you critic! I gave my Super a glowing report only because he's a hands-off manager and pretty much lets his team function on their own. I like his style if that's in-fact truly what it is or is he just lazy. In any case, it works and everyone is happy as a result of his non-micromanagement style!

The response should always be. "Just keep doing what you are doing".. and an emoji smile. Nothing good or bad is said.. trust me.

Never heard of these peer reviews, but they definitely sound corny.

What is a peer review at T- it’s getting people you know who will give you a positive score and comment. Why would I want a peer to review what I’m doing on a daily basis. That’s my Mgrs job.
T is always about 10-15 years behind the times when it comes to employees.
Does anyone remember the open space concept the company was so excited about 8 years ago. That came
from the FAANG companies who did that in the 90’s.
This company would be better off with less upper mgmt input. Less would be more in this case.

Why some people always be hating on Santone? I had a group skip level with her. She listened to us and empathized with our concerns. The company made some bad investments in T-Mobile, DIRECTV and WarnerMedia. She’s trying to make the best of it. She didn’t take away vacation days, retirement bennies, or medical perks. That is just a consequence of Stephenson, Stankey and Donovan taking the eye off the ball and driving the golf cart into a water hazard. Santone has to feed a family of 9 with a can of tuna, box of macaroni and Campbell’s mushroom soup because the Randy and the Johns drank the whole paycheck…

There is no need for peer reviews. Just measure those workers by number of jobs completed.

If you ain't got not peer reviews, you are underperforming and should go on a list.

I refused to do it this year. We were told quantum was being dumped after one year as it was a rubbish. Probably can’t afford to replace it with all this debt. Whoever brought it in should have been surplused. Pathetic system for Facebook like wannabes.

Nobody reads them. Nobody cares. Our Boss actually told us that it's just about checking the box and making sure you asked for the feedback.

Nope.
My job is to fix stuff.
Not to do management's job of evaluating employees.
I'll not participate.
Just more "feel good" BS from the company. They really don't care what you or I think.

Not your job to correct your coworker's behavior - its the manager's job. The manager should have enough insight to know who is doing a good job or not.

Anne Chow’s last peer review didn’t go so well.

It’s all 3’s and positive comments.
Next year is my retirement year. I think I’ll send it to the top 3 officers in the company, provided they are still around at that point.

If you want to vomit - go read all the posts kissing the Stink's @ss. There are many others praising other C-Suiters that will make you sick, but the love letters to the Stink are just over the top. Must be fellow Pajama party partakers!

Pick executives to do your reviews. Your manager will be impressed seeing they are on your circle of friends.
