Is there another acquisition aside from Union Bank?

They won’t be keeping many from the bank that’s being absorbed. Their base pay is much, much higher. They’ll be pushed out if they’re even onboarded to begin with.

I figured that with the new acquisition that so many employees have to be absorbed from the other company, so it will hit when that's completed.

I guess I'll counter the last commenter to say I heard by the end of Q3 to make numbers look better. We used to have mass layoffs in March for the same reason. I also haven't heard this, but there's probably a hiring freeze. The economy is in a bad place right now.

July will be the month and going into August. June is just a rumor for now. Most companies layoff employees at the beginning of new quarter. So you all are safe until June. After that sc--w you and your daddies

If you are above 50 years old or have a higher than entry level pay, be concerned. Lots of scores to be settled by the useless middle management too.

Look beyond the bank - be prepared for a global layoff scenario in June. A lot of industries are going to be laying off across the board. Don't be quick to jump ship and start prepping your financial affairs for the unexpected.
