Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

When they furnished the replay link, there was a link to a survey but not a place where they gave answers to the questions they didn't answer. The video mentioned that they discussed the pre-submitted questions before the meeting and chose to answer the ones they claimed were ones they could answer. The others, which is basically all of them, will just be flushed away.

And as the other poster mentioned, they did not address their answers to the person asking the question by name even though that was their justification reason for not allowing anonymous questions.

How many more times is Legg going to have band videos and other gimmicks? If he's trying to be relatable, he's lost us with his otherwise yes man attitudes and his condescending get over its.

yes a recent tactic is to spend as much time as possible on a single question or they'll pass the same question to 1-2 individuals just repeating themselves. this consumes time and they get to answer less questions

The question submission form claimed one of the reasons for forcing your name to be associated with the question was that they could personally address you by name when they answered it. As if that really mattered.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall them actually ever doing that for the few pre-submitted questions they actually asked. So was probably more to identify those they will take retribution against.

At the start of the meeting, Legg welcomed other people reorg'd under him and said something like people are always free to ask me whatever they want and I will make every effort to answer them or tell you what I know.

Makes it easy when they skip over the highest voted questions and instead ask likely planted audience questions like "what are we doing about quality?"

It was painful to watch when some audience guy said "I have 4 questions" and he struggled to sp-t them out. And even more painful listening Legg and panel try to answer them for at least 10 minutes to avoid the submitted questions they didn't want to address.

You could tell they kept going to the audience to get questions to avoid the form asked ones and then time suddenly ran out to their delight.

Stankey always lamented about cost structure and everyone should just suck it up so the company can be competitive again. T won't be anywhere competitive with his bloated compensation and misadventures in M&A. Executive culture mirrors after Stankey, promotions and pay increases are rewarded to those who keep up with appearances, failure on real work simply doesn't matter.
