Yes, if you want to be treated like cr*p, work for Chevron as a contractor.

Yes, we have all been on roughly a two year career break. They are trying to get us to come in and work now. You're not alone.
I know plenty of people full time after six months. Just depends on what BU you contract with.
After 6 months you can ony work part-time. Three years after you take your penson before you can again be a full emplyee.
Six months is minimum to return on contract as many have done. Bridges program is the name.
36 months out if you took your lumb and want to return full time.
