The company took away vacation days from employees with more than 20 years and gave them to employees with less than 20. I do!

Control what you can control. I take the time I need and don't give a second thought to the "code" or non code (sick day etc.) Mental health is the new buzz so my time off the clock is to restore mental health.
"as the new guys with 25 years" Folks with 25 years of service are considered "new guys?"
Just take extra family leave and sick days to compensate.
Pepperidge Farm remembers
@kqi+1g3Ja0jw The 1980's called and they want their liberal talking points back. Facts is, I know those facts, the "rich and elite" all vote democrat. Who knew huh!? Check the voter roles and that can easily be verified.
Don’t be so blind! Apparently, you must like paying $4.95/gal. for gas and $5.50 for a loaf of bread? Talk about erosion of the middle class, this senile imbecile in the White House doesn’t know energy independence from solar power! Who’s paying the price, getting hurt the most, the middle class my friend! Our standard of living has been reduced starting 1/20/21 and if you’re too narrow minded to see or feel it at the pump, then you must be very wealthy? Sorry, I forgot, you’re just an AT&T work unit, a middle class peasant, a working stiff that enjoys paying more for all our goods and services, thank you, Joe Biden!

- don't forget that over 190 of your GOP buddies voted NO on the bill to cap insulin cots righteous indignation might do we...thought I expect that you’re too narrow minded to see or feel it
Still have my five weeks, and they even gave us MLK on top of it, too.
Never did it to me.
What's really not fair is me, with 43 years get the same vacation time (240 hrs) as the new guys with 25 years. That's BS
The company exists to allow the corporate elite to line their pockets. You should start doing the same or move on. Suck up overtime to unchecked limits. Take every opportunity to max out any sales incentives that can be manipulated.
My employer before AT&T cut my vacation days from 15 to 5, and I didn't out until I took the second week! Of course a non-union shop.
6 weeks later I was working at AT&T, 9 months later former employer was out of business.
COLA for union employees was before my time.
And they raised medical premiums more than the extra HSA account. And all those extra benefits also benefit younger workers at least as much if not more than older workers. I know older workers can use caregiver days for parents but so can younger workers who also use them for their children living at home.
People who say "just move on" about things like this are as callous as the people who took them away.
Definitely age discrimination to take away a benefit from older employees and then give it to younger workers. So long time formerly loyal employee here gets back lost vacation days by taking our new “woke” days off.
You should start saving a quarter every pay period and putting it in a savings account. This way, you will have a moderate nest egg to cover burial expenses when you die. This is a benefit many longterm employees think T took away.
Remember when the union agreed to eliminate COLA increases
Now we get 15 days to care for family members, we get extra HSA money if over 20 years . . .things change and you need to learn you live with it or leave but quit bellyaching
And they added three more federal holidays.
Move on…. Water under the bridge.
