WHAT IS THE LOA POLICY FOR MANAGEMENT...

What is the limit on Loa's a manager can take in a year. Our front end manager is always on leave. It's like every month she is off again because of her blood pressure, at this point she should just step back down to hourly because she can not handle being a manager. Is this like this in every club or just ours? Also anytime a associate or member gets hurt she freaks out and doesn't know how to handle it. Defiantly not management material.

You should be thankful for a company that allows you take care of personal or family needs. If hourlies/salaried managers exhaust their time, they are gone like any other.

When I was on intermittent LOA to help a family member, I had to have the Doctor fill out the Sedgewick form every 6 months. But i was never out for the equivalent of 12 weeks in 1 year.

Our club is the same. Managers on Loa calling in all the time. They are absent more than at work. Even managers not on Loa call in all the time. Nothing done about it. I think it's a requirement for managers. You must call in all the time.
