For once, some decent AT&T related news I don't have to ashamed of

AT&T to offer free calls to Ukraine for their customers

AT&T has announced that due to the circumstances in Ukraine, the cellular company is giving back to customers by allowing them to make calls to the country free of charge.

The announcement was made just a few days after the Russian attacks on Ukraine.

This will go into effect starting Feb. 26-March 7.

Customers and business customers will be offered unlimited long distance calling from the U.S. to Ukraine.

The offer will be valid for all pre-paid and post-paid AT&T customers, VoIP and landline customers.

Unlimited texting will follow with regular mobile share and unlimited texting plans.

They realized there's no chance of recovering toll charges from Ukraine, so may as well frame the business failure as "charity" and virtual signal with it

Only the best leadership at T.

It’s good news but Verizon announced a day ahead of T. Another follow the leader mentality. T needs to get off their ar-e and start leading in everything.
I can see the accountants now, crunching numbers to make sure this doesn’t hurt the bottom line.
