It has been fun rediscovering my closet fo work clothes. So many options. I had not been in a starched shirt with a collar for two years. My dry cleaner was happy to see me.

My floor is about 50% full. Shocked at how empty it was. Went to a few other floors, lots of name tags not a lot of people. Reminds me of early day 9/80 when half the office actually reported on their Friday on.

Heard of several people I know who are basically refusing to return. Not sure how this will work out for them. Time will tell

got to work at 7:30 then spent two hours setting up office, unpacking. Then first coffee break, come back checked emails then it’s team lunch time. Came back from lunch then it was time to go home. Great one day experiment won’t be back until next month.

A bunch of you got fatter than ever the last two years. You need to be at the gym, not standing in line to shove more food down your throat.

I was surprised at the lines in the canteen. They seem longer than before! Food was as wretched as ever, of course. Nice to see so many smiling faces, a few with more wrinkles than in 2019.

Maybe they should hire back all of the boomers to get the job done right. Have you ever watched the movie Space Cowboys. Same idea.

It was a fun experiment for a day. I won't be reporting onsite tomorrow though. Experiment over.

Return to office is better than is could have been. but would have preferred to have not returned to the office for another year. I failed a dr-g test before we were sent home and then had two years drinking again with no fear of being tested. Good news is now I just need to make it through one year and I am free to party again versus the three years without I would have had to do had we not worked from home. At least the time working from home gave me back two years of my drinking life. Amen.

It's great being able to complain about management in person.

For those excited to go in you could have gone in for months. Didn't need to force others to come in just so you could do some locker room talk with da boys. Most people have enjoyed the extra plus for work life balance not wasting time commuting and being up in the office having teams meetings with people in other parts of the world. Get ready for more attrition...
