Group that underindexed to the general population was The Executive Level. But guess who has to take all the diversity and sensistivity training classes? Those beneath the executive level. Guess who blows through $100,000,000,000 plus in shareholder wealth in less than a decade? Guess who is reminded that they have to pinch Pennie’s and get penny like annual raises? Stock has gone from $40+ to less than $20 in one of the greatest Bull Bubble Markets and the Investing community laughs at ATT.

Yep. Only change is that you can't get promoted on merit alone anymore (if you ever really could). You have to be of a certain specialty group, Level 2 or below, and it's still who you know so that they can appear to be a DEI hero. Thank you for the incompetent boss that belittles us, alienates clients we spent years to build relationships with, and general tells the group we suck every meeting. Unnecessary process changes that create more work yet show no added value. Insecure and defensive if the last manager's name is even mentioned by anyone, edicts about how because one person isn't doing something then we all are punished. And lest I forget, throw in micro-managing of the high-performing team. All to meet some kind of quota. I believe the manager is competent and smart, but this position was definitely not the right fit for them. Can only hope they move on, or I can. Effectively, it's running off the most skilled and talented people. Already lost half our team.
No. T was known to be a dividend stock. And the C-Suite definitely sc***ed the pooch on that one!
Another big waste of cash that provides even more discrimination. Stop with all discrimination, make anyone and everyone earn their stripes. Leadership at T is bismal at best, they will discriminate as they try to correct past mistakes. Discrimination is discrimation no matter what they say or do!
was T ever known to be a growth stock?
I for one am more accepting of a diverse workforce due to AT&T's training and guidance.
Naw, just kidding. I don't care if my coworkers are white, black, Asian, g-y, straight or anywhere in the middle. If they do their job, and if they are struggling to do their job but willing to learn, we are golden. All of this "diversity" training is the "executive leadership" team projecting their own biases upon us that work in the real world. Don't believe me? Check out the profiles of the "leadership" team of AT&T.
