Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Go ahead given to start reviews

The next wave of departures should start 60 to 90 days after hpd dissapointment season.
This is pending war and possible recession looming.
I hate this time of year.

The whole goal and performance review system is a complete joke. It's become a predatory method to squeeze whatever bits of effort they can from the exhausted people who haven't jumped ship yet.

What are you guys complaining about? You don’t need raises - our stellar, never misses a beat HI management gave us “Meeting Free Thursdays”!

That should solve everything. What engineer could turn down a job with a company that has “meeting free thursdays”?? I am sure that will bring all the talent back.

Be very careful spending that raise and MIP. Two years ago they pulled the rug out from underneath everybody.

Until that $$$ is in your account it doesn't exist. Then, any raise can, and has been taken away if there's an economic hiccup with furloughs to follow. HW workers are piecemeal workers no more no less.

@wdx No need for a RIF. Too many are leaving. ALT pummeled on last survey and think they can collectively brainstorm to stop the bleeding, turning those no star reviews into 5 star ones. What a joke.

Don't tell them about the pending war and possible recession.
That will be an excuse to postpone reviews indefinitely.
