2017ish, Darius announced shifting Honeywell to a more software focused company. There wasn't an employee, newbie to VP's, that praised the idea. Darius failed to realized Honeywell's success was attributed to the vast Aerospace product diversity; avionics, landing gear, turbine engines, environmental controls, Inertia wheels with a small offering in software, such as EGPWS and EPIC systems. And the success of each product offering was strong talent. Darius had an opportunity to ki-l the HPD 9-black and PIP kr-p and listen to the industry to grow the company. Nope, Darius is an a-typical ego orientated CEO pretending to move a company's focus elsewhere.
For the newbies and those pondering employment at Honeywell and wondering why there's so much negativity; it's because many CEOs address stockholders about their great ideas for growth while simultaneously destroying core products and not valuing employee talent. You'll read many negative comments from folks employed by Honeywell/Sperry and Garrett/AlliedSignal. Many of us saw great success built from employee talent to destruction from CEO leadership. Unfortunate.
