Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Illegal

It’s illegal that this company has not mailed W-2’s.

I received my severance payment in 2021 and received my W-2 about two weeks ago. No problems or delays at all. Never used the ADP site, have always received by mail.

@1adh+1fcDpLRn apparently their difficult reactivation process of texting you an access code is too difficult for Allstate lifers

@1azq Actually tough guy ADP locks you out after 90 days of inactivity and if you don't get through the ridiculous complicated unlock process successfully the first and only time you have to contact your "payroll administrator" which is Allstate HR which are inept in themselves. So know what you're talking about before trying to insult the employee base.

Here's a perfect example of what's wrong with some of the people that work for this company. Allstate started using ADP several years ago, allowing employees to get their W-2's online, which is really a win-win situation as employees get their W-2's much more quickly, and securely, and the company doesn't have to waste all that paper. As employees, all you have to do is register with the ADP website and remember a password- simple right? That so many of you cannot even do this and are complaining about it is astounding. Believe me, there is a lot about Allstate that is not intuitive and convoluted, but this is not one of them. If you're struggling with this, then you're probably the same employee that gets locked out of their computer, is constantly asking co-workers for help doing your job, etc. and we have way too many of you at Allstate.

I talked with HR today. Since I am signed up to get them online they said they will not be mailing it to me even if I request it. They told me they submitted what they needed to with adp and anything further I need to contact adp. Overall they were pretty short and rude about it and even said people need to learn how to use that website better. two of my coworkers are experiencing the same thing. What a nightmare.

They were sent and they’re also available online, and have been for a while now. In fact, this is the fastest they’ve ever seen sent. This has been published many places.

If you did not have access to the ADP website, mail is the only way to get those.

When you call, there's a recorded message that states the W2's were mailed out January 31. It takes "15 to 20 business days" to receive them through the US Mail.

If you don't receive them by February 25, you can call in to request a reprint.
