Honeywell would be in deep sh_t if everyone started, speaking out about all the short cuts and missing certification documents.
I know for a fact parts were being worked and shipped by people who weren't fully certified

Maybe some line leader or lower level supervisor would be in a bind, but unless it is shown to be systemically going on in multiple departments at multiple sites no one at or above the position of manager will feel any repercussions.
ALT members who didn't know the FAA rules were pushing for shortcuts a few months ago that would have been a violation. Good thing there were still a few smart worker bees around that told them to get a clue. Gotta love the brain trust in charge!
Honeywell is still selling CCTV cameras with Chinese chipsets: Dahua OEM. Furthermore, our Commercial Security GM GH told us to sell what we have in stock, including Russian customers as she is in her last months in Honeywell.
The amount of things that are pencil whipped blows my mind.
After working for Honeywell, we have the same attitude as Boeing. Maybe that’s why Boeing hired Honeywell to build its parts. The mentality of its workers. Their management which encourages this behavior. In order to push parts.
They push parts in order to get their bonuses. They also push parts to make up for the scrap. In order to make our deliveries. By having a philosophy like this. They allow people to run equipment that’s not In specifications or working 100% correctly. They can even jimmy rig things.
They don’t have to follow process. There’s nothing in place when people don’t. No one in my place gets in trouble. Why does this happen? They allow their friends and buddies the run the place. This why nobody ever gets in trouble. When you have a system in place where you can hire all your friends and buddies. Do you think you’re really are going to discipline them. Also do you think you ever gonna go after anybody who really pushes parts fast. They make them look good and what great bonus. This is why nothing will ever be corrected.
If we were ever under investigation by the FAA, or Pentagon. I think they close the whole place down, or lose a major contracts. When someone complains about the companies not following anything. Nothing ever happens.
The biggest problem is we have government agencies. Who are controlled by big business. Congress writes the laws that favor their friends. Which are big businesses. If there’s a complaint filed against a corporate entity, they just call a Senator or House representative who they gave a donation to. Which always results in investigation being terminated or not even being initiated. Same rule applies to lobbyists.
When big businesses have a friends creating laws and they also are in charge of enforcing the laws. Nothing will happen. This is why nobody in Boeing. Who is higher up in the company. Went to prison and your fines should really hurt company. Right now they are a joke. You might as well give them a one dollar fine.
These government agencies were in charge to protect the general population. In my opinion is the biggest joke in the world.
They probably created these agencies so their children could have great healthcare and pensions for life.
As long as the government is controlled by lobbyist and large donors. You can get away with mu---r. It amazes me that the Justice Department did not press any charges against any of the CEOs or the Board of Directors. I rest my case.
If you know this is never gonna happen, why do you think the culture would change in big business. Guess what? Why would their friends change the laws when it would punish your friends. Wake up and smell the coffee.
