You guys deserved better then to be told to accept "job offer" to Tustin or get surplussed. I hope it takes company years to find you a job and meanwhile you guys do as little as possible. If company tries to assign you work that was moved to Tustin, make sure to tell the union as soon as possible so that management does not get away with it!

The company does what they want (except in the instances where they are in cahoots with the Union, which does happen).
"Needs of the business". Familiarize yourself with that term.
This is a silly post. Any business, at any time, can close locations. Often employees are not given an option of relocating….they’re simply ‘let go’. What planet do you live on?
Tell the Union? The Local did this to themselves! Plus, it has been 10 years coming as the company sold the building and least it for 10 years.

The building at one time was full of Comm Techs 24/7
All that work was moved to TX or Conyers
When they came for Comm Techs I did not care...
Anyway there are plenty of splicer jobs in CA that need to be filled

The name in itself, Tustin would have me looking elsewhere for another opportunity! Get out while you can, that’s T’s ultimate plan in the long run! The writing is on the wall! I’ve seen a couple of call centers go under at the stroke of a pen!
