As always follow the teams that were basically directly under whatever VP was reporting directly to que. So that means as usual Arizona and Texas

He obviously can’t make the decision to clean up his stables full of sh-t so someone way above should send him packing faster.
Too bad… if he had acted to get rid of his incompetent management early… HCE could have started to recover - for real
Now we are going for fake reorgs to spin some more. It’s like a slow moving crash on a movie that keeps going and going… the nose of the airplane slowly crumbles and then the cockpit then the next section all in super slow motion.. unreal

Get sh-t done? What got done? What I saw is individuals architects sr engineers and fellows all trying to showcase how great they are while the rest were trying to understand and move forward. That’s why MP wanted to send all those to other locations overseas for a long trip

In any unit, when a VP screws the person above, they themselves gets screwed by the people below. It’s a character flaw big as a house.
Unfortunately it is the teams that pay the price of those fancy games of thrones …. Expect targeted “reorg” efforts as those same VPs blame teams -never themselves, always in the teams in the USA . But never in India …. Fun times ahead.

I concur MP and his VPs are really bad news. Those are all racing to show off how much they can con people above while lining their pockets and fostering their political agendas
That said… that lasted for so long because some of the top engineers enabled the con. That’s what’s sad about all this.

Don't get me wrong Sentience/Forge was always a garbage platform. But when I said talent, I am not saying the people that were fired were top performers and super smart. They were definitely a lot better performing than all the people we hired externally or brought in from HTS whom bring their culture or politics to the workplace.

If Medtronic has managed to control their India first you have a chance . If she brings over her dearest reports… you’re screwed.
The pattern here is blaming a person like que when the problem is the 3 execute layers below her. They can’t get a whole army to deliver even a good line of code…
As for sentience “talent” well… like today nothing real got produced. Talent of the art of the con is more like it. and we are suckers for doing it over and over.
Those 3 layers must go asap. I bet the layer immediately under Que has mumbled “we will reorg” for a bit while not taking real action …probably trying to write an encyclopedia on the process of how to “reorg and keep HTS growing for dummies.”

If MP and peers wants to survive … better fire all his incompetent VPs and especially whoever those hired … they are are gunning for his job. “India first” only works to a point…then the ““get to the top of the pyramid” game kicks in.

Once she joins your company at Medtronic, expect a massive reorg and a ton of layoffs. Similar to what happened in Sentience 2.0 when she joined they formed HCE. Ton of talent was lost. Then expect those same roles that were lost to have openings where your manager will tell you, you need to reapply to that position or be terminated within 30 days since you won't have a job. You won't get the job as someone probably from India or some friend of that manager will take that position. Q will then say we will be dev ops first and a bunch of buzzwords and keep the con going to sell a vaporware vision. The company will then have constant Layoffs of furloughs to justify the cost of building the next "forge" when nobody is using it and everyone will be left bitter while Q goes on to destroy the next company.

The same thing repeats over and over.
Rockstar arrives. Rockstar gets told to use HTS / Bangalore. Rockstar complies. Nothing gets done on time. Need now 250 people to get the job of one. Need months to get the job of 2 hours. Then rockstar put VPs to streamline. VPs focus on increasing the scope of HTS. (You can’t get a 1hr job so yeah let’s give you more important stuff rigth?) VPs know HTS can’t do jack on the technology. So they round up fellows, architects, top engineers to “teach” HTS…. Doesn’t work. Meanwhile the VPs keep adding more india only in their rank to “manage”. Not helping as this was the problem to begin with. Morale plumets even more. Then customers come to try use forge… and publicize what they see. Rockstar now realize they can’t get anything done even the simpler stuff past the layer of india VPs (nothing to do with high tech)
Rockstar tells DA and has to run.
Rinse and repeat.

Typical for HCE, word is going around that because MP is in a bad position and on the way to be ousted like Que, a connected industrial VP is signaling he can replace MP. considering SC is new and part of the lineage gang, morale is falling even faster. That one is way worse than MP. Way worse - like a snake. We got to find a way out of this org. It’s not salvageable because a lineage gang person never fires another lineage dude even when clearly not competent and destructive to boot. They just can’t put Honeywell first. That’s the undoing of MP. Reorg don’t work if you don’t get rid of the protection of pyramid bozos

I have been at honeywell for 31 years in engineering, and we never had issues until the past 5-10 years. Mostly peaceful coexistence. What changed is a new generation came and was overtly arrogant and blatantly using covert racism. You’re not from the correct lineage , sorry no job, black? Sorry no job, Asian outside that country or Chinese ? Sorry , white? Why do you apply. I see it over and over. Favoring their friends is one thing but getting a position just because of a country of origin… that qualifies as racism. Cronyism and so forth the arrogance of those 2.5 years old… who if unhappy should have complained and left. This is a new hire touting facebook?

@1fpz, it seems to be blended with what seems to be called lineage (which determines your “place” in society)
I am constantly appalled here how far this goes in Honeywell. I hear comments such as only India knows technology (????) or women can’t be technical, or great engineers (?????) or be in marketing or an admin and it goes on.
It is really becoming scary in HCE. It’s like the new equivalent of the “old boy network” is alive and well. Just different guys but same “mad men” type.
The problem is not just tech. It’s very much cultural. Before that club was overtly abusive. Finally that was slowed by HR with some vp training. It shifted to covert now. No change, more underground. More about don’t say that, but continue acting that way. Que was undermined almost every day since taking on HCE. She didn’t have a chance.

@1ndc, Interesting comment about women. I was once told by such a person, whom I supervised (very kindly, I might add), that I should be home having babies. It was a small company and he had done enough to prove himself incompetent that he was out the door in short order.

Wonder if there is a government agency this toxic cronyism can be reported to.

Why do we keep putting crackpots like MP and the same managing tech when we know all they want is to staff more people of their “lineage” ? They also actively attack Indians of a different lineage. It’s politics only.
I still remember when one of the VP recently hired by him was contributing by telling people to avoid honeywell vaccination checks by using fake CDC cards, all the while hinting that women should never manage Indian men. It’s like being 100 years in the past.
Every time I see that guy and MP my morale goes lower. We keep running a death spiral. Why is nobody speaking up?

Q never had a vision. I am actually surprised she lasted so long. She has been a disaster for HCE similar to M. M will definitely be next. But in the border picture anyone in HCE should leave the company, you will be at risk of layoffs in the near term. It wouldn't surprise me if Forge gets deprecated and everyone needs to find a new job. There was a lot more people using the platform a few years ago then there is now. The ones who built out the original vision for Sentience/Forge are long gone.

MP in HCE blatantly hired incompetent VPs that were at best from the right “lineage” those in turn being equally arrogant hire others from the same lineage.
Why is the first thing that matter in HCE below the president is that the person must be from India???
MP has destroyed in short order the morale of HCE, destroyed credibility with clients, has increased the time to deliver anything to infinity., he single-handedly sunk forge, with his Indian games.
There is no real engineering, no real architecture, no real software. Just a phone book 1 foot high that talks about processes that run in circle and need literally thousand of people to run.
MP must go -FAST before he makes more damage. He should not be given 2-3 months like Que, but let go now before he and his minion VPs damages morale even further
