Not "welfare mentality", but "entitlement mentality", my friend! I earned it, I sweated and toiled for this company for many years and now, I believe those of us that did this should get something for it! That's what very wealthy corporate America does. They very readily over compensate their worthless CEOs, Presidents & VPs along with their over-priced golden parachutes...that's OK, but does the common working employee really have a choice in the matter, NO! We just shut up and take it, no questions asked while these people are made very wealthy from our hard work! So, with that said, why isn't the working man entitled to some kind of severance pay? You can't answer that or are just d-mbfounded and don't know why! It's plain and simple, "Corporate Greed!"

If actively looking for work at other companies, it’s best to distance to distance yourself from T as much as possible. Leave the employment listing on your resume/CV but don’t have further associations. T does’t have a good reputation in the industry.
Leaving will be the rest decision you ever made.
I’ll be happy to leave T, but only if they offer me a severance package will I accept that it’s time to hang it up and part ways!
