As long as I personally don't have to do someone else's job or until it becomes a problem for me to do my own - I don't mind. However, it is interesting how some do absolutely nothing throughout the day, while others are overwhelmed with work. How often are you feeling totally unproductive?

I don't work hard anymore. They've convinced me there's no point in it. I worked hard to only get to the middle of my salary band. Then they told us our band was underpaid and put everyone at the minimum whether you were a top performer, the worst of the lot, or a brand new higher. Not to mention all the benefits are now structured for new people. No point in working hard anymore.
Not my job to equalize work.
Don't care. That's my bosses job.
Don't do the least, don't do the most.
Here's why.
Lets say I average 5 jobs a day this month.
My coworker averages 2.
Next month I go down to 4 jobs and he goes up to 3.
Guess who gets the "attaboy"? 3 job guy.
Guess who had the bad month? Yup, me.
There is no incentive to work hard. The more you do, the more they expect.
OP, you need to learn how to work smarter! It's that simple, not something you're taught in college.
After years of abuse. I just show up daily to drink and collect a day-check. Could retire anytime but why? I open the van door in GP,Tx - serve drinks, listen to music and go home.
