Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Restrictions

Anyone else’s office have work from home restrictions?
We have two days work from home. Can’t be Monday & Friday (can be either but not both in same week) and cannot be Wednesday.
🤦

Umm if you’re working from home like you did pre & during pandemic (in a non customer facing position) you are providing “coverage”
This is all about micro managing not what is best for the business or it’s employees.
Pi---d off employees do not foster growth of your business.

Can't wait until I have a new job. WF is a dumpster fire.

Same. This was run so abysmally from top down, and for so long. It showed me just how bad the company is run. Suddenly some of the unprofessional, untenured managers and coworkers I had to endure made sense- (the ineptitude) it's across the bank. Leave-run-sprint. I'd rather make less WFH and be happy in a job I like. The Legacy folks are clinging on for dear life to this place like a barnacle on the last piece of reef left & the smart ones grew wings and flew off :) Which category are you in?

Couldn’t be happier. Wishing all the best for you. Tons of opportunity out there. This board was instrumental in my decision to leave and embark on a brand new opportunity.

Hey Chuckie!

How about you focus on closing all the regulatory issues, MRAs, consent orders, and getting the asset cap removed instead of making your employees miserable and depleting your talent? Just a friendly suggestion.

Love, the OCC, FRB, SEC, CFPB

Be careful — next they will be requiring a hall pass to use the restroom. This freaking company, I just can’t anymore.

If you’re in commercial you know….
Meeting today, implied if you complain too much about two days home we will take that away.

And, since Wednesday is must be in the office day, if let’s say you have a reason to work from home that day, was told we have to use PTO. Can’t come in on Tuesday instead, Wednesday is must be in office day.
Yeah I’m looking for another job after 15 years ( exceeds expectations in last performance review-doesn’t matter)

Nope. Because I am not a child. I feel bad for you with your poor management. We were told we can take whatever days we want to work from home. If they are forcing you to be in office 3 days a week, you should have the right to choose which days. It's not like things aren't going to be done if you work from home - it makes zero sense to try to put conditions on it.

Gotta justify those big salaries somehow. They're sure not doing it with stock price.

Why the fu-k does “leadership” have time and brain cells to waste on this petty, micromanagement bu-----t? Although maybe the lack of brain cells is my answer here.

So they're certain to need office capacity for everyone on Wednesdays. Doesn't really seem very efficient load balancing to try to optimize real estate costs.
