Ever since rajat puri came in things have gone down hill ( offshore) lots of US jobs have gone to philippines and India. Causing layoffs here in the US. Elevance is no longer an American company lots of members and providers have been complain about the horriable service they are getting

I spent over 10 years with the company. Helped to develop a new program. Ensured the staff were well educated and trained on materials. I was on PTO when I was called. 10 years and like I was just a nobody. Worked through many managers who heavily micromanaged. It’s a shame because the company really used to be a wonderful company to work for. Now it’s just about shareholders and CEO’s.
Our entire department got the boot. Do not apply for Elevance, they don't care about their people.
I just got laid off this morning out of Houston Texas from Carelon RX.
My director didn’t say one word. My manager had no idea. Disappointed.
They moved me from a good position to this for this!!!

What a joke of a company with criminals running it! Micromanagers! Wanna be leaders but have no clue what they are doing, pushing initiatives have no clue the problems it will bring, perfect example, Provider Data Management!…hahaha Good job Shane!
Yeah I get it corp business bs but the circus clowns that are in a room making these decisions get rid of exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable people.
I was laid off today from the NY network team. While the leadership in the market is phenomenal unfortunately these decisions are made from President that do not understand the impact that it will have on their provider facing team. they’d rather hire offshore support that causes more problems than solutions
I was laid off today along with 4 others on my team. Elevance Health is in a very sad state. What a joke that it’s supposedly the “best company” to work for!
I just got laid off today in CarelonRx department they stated reorganization. I’m in GA and let me tell you I’m one happy camper. The job was a pure JOKE! When they took me from NASCO in April I knew it was coming soon because they moved too many departments over to CarelonRx but what a relief.
I just got laid off from Carelon Behavior Health today, part of Elevance. They said nothing personal, part of a corporate reorganization. BS. IU have dozens of complaints about leadership, including lack of accommodation for a disability. Lack of management support, not involved in project implementation for new employees. When you try to help your colleagues, you get you hand slapped for doing unapproved tasks. Then they tell you that the fellow team that you helped should have not reached out to me. We are working on the same project and wanted to help them onboarding and gain access to the systems we are testing. Directors abuse you in project meetings, embarrassing you.

Hi yes I got laid off here in Atl on the BH side. I am probably the lowest rung on the BH treatment latter. I don't understand in the scheme of things they did not pay me very much. It makes no sense get rid of some of those middle management. It was mentioned micromanagement, his org is where I have experienced this problem the worst. From middle management. I believed the peace, love, include, elevate BS. If I had all that money and resources..... I want to go pan handle in front of the building, lol. Anyone with me?
I just got laid off today too! Thank you God my mental is free! This company is a joke and only care about the stockholders and CEO CFO AND ANY OTHER BIG WIG!! Micromanaging at its finest, lack of communication, unorganized! This company is reactive not proactive!!!
The layoffs continue today. There were 4 members of my team that all got laid off. It was a really sad day to see them go. It's a shame they can't keep good hard-working people around. Yet our jobs continue to go overseas.
Anyone who wants to get into healthcare especially on this side stay far away and run if you can. This place is shithole and dumpster fire that will drain your soul, mental health and physically. Don't believe me read all the posts on here and if you think u will fare better under the new leadership or whoever is left over are stuck with the most toxic ppl ever to work with. Good luck still surviving with the Rat around. He will get to you eventually...
My team got a weird request by email to work from home tomorrow 8/8 (after pushing the in office working??) and that more information would be given tomorrow in a meeting. To me something is going on for sure!

What insurance does the associate in other countries have? Do RIFs with jobs moving overseas also cause membership to drop?

A well needed change for Elevance that has been due for long. Glad to see all the scrap removed and a fresh makeover in place. Keep up the good work Lavu.
I think this company like its competitors is facing big changes in the industry. Just look around at what is going on. Huge issues with data security, FTC investigations and law suites, clients suing for non transparency. The list goes on and on. Profit companies operating in Healthcare is not the future.
The only employees safe at this company are located in India and the Philippines. Ever try calling IT Help Desk for a simple issue? It’s a disaster and inevitably get’s sent to someone in America. Look at the job listings, they are all India or Philippines based. You know what would save this company all the precious money they love? Outsourcing the worthless Enterprise exec’s, including the grossly overpaid Gail Boudreaux. I’m certain an AI could do her job, or some underpaid Indian.
There is a good reason why United Healthcare let go of Gail. To save their company and employees. Now she comes to Elevance to demolish it.

It is mind boggling that the people running this company want every IT leadership role filed by someone from India. ELV cannot process a claim or move data from legacy systems to an enterprise warehouse, yet these loons believe they will use AI to "transform healthcare."

No depth, no execution, no strategy, worst technology town hall I saw last week - reading from a script, no emotions or connect with teams. I am now convinced after few months that we are going downhill and seems like AB and other leadership has given up due to mo--ns being installed as leaders above them. What a shame that all the good work done within technology space will be undone soon. May god save Elevance Health technology teams.

I'd say they think everyone is stupid but they really don't care what we think, about anything.
The pharma team has had so many leaders changes the last 5 years I cant keep up. We keep being told we are not hitting goals then on financial updates we hit our targets I heard our new pharmacy is failing and more than a few good people with experience just left the organization in the past few months so Im just waiting for my turn. My manager already told us there were multiple cutbacks planned
