All of us broadband techs that have been laid off can come back and do the same job for less pay under the new prem tech title, same job less pay how nice of them. Union fought it in arbitration, lost....big surprise. $^%* you centurlink and cwa, I don't know who I'm more pi---d at.

How’s that stock doing? Buffoons!
They changed my title three times, twice without telling me. Then, they offered us all a pkg and I took it. Then, they offered me my old job back at $10hr less. Told them pack sand. Then, a contract company recruiter called and offered me the job for thr same money I left at, but no insurance. Pack sand again. Went to an IT company started by some ex techs and an ex MRO and pay and life is good.
And funny part is, we are getting paid big bucks to install Lumen DIA bundles and fiber.
Haha. At least the company paid me to f$$k me. I had to pay the union to f$$k me. Never again. After those techs got laid off in Phoenix the union declared war? They should have done that before they laid them off!!!!!!!
I agree. What do you think would have happened with no Union? They were able to increase the wage from $25 to $30 per hour. The company would not have done that voluntary
How can you be pi---d at the union for fighting it and not winning? Someone get their wand out and make a miracale
In my area no techs were actually laid off. Some transferred or took the money and left for retirement, or a more solid employment. If they were d-mb enough to take the Premtech job title that’s on them. And just because the union lost the job title grievance, does not automatically mean these new hires will even join the union.
Uh, prem techs will be union paying members. Your union sold you out not the company. Techs were laid off last year only to be rehired at a cheaper rate, the union is still getting dues and will get dues from newly hired prem techs.
These corporate executives would sell their Grandparents out! The VP Of Service Delivery was picked on in high school. Now he’s a big shot! Just make sure you get him a step ladder to get into his car or truck! Punk! So weak!
It makes perfect sense. Lumen management has to lay off union employees so they can hire more contractors. The want a work force d-mber than they are. My manager is living proof.
Me hungry! Me need work! Me do good job!
Me work for 15 dollars an hour.
Me join union.
Me now make 42 dollars an hour
Me now laid off. Me go back to McD's.
Did you not learn the first time? Why the he-l would even think of going back to work for those clowns?!?!?
I'm sure there be plenty who would accept the job. Lumen is targeting ex Walmart and McD employees to come and do the work for fraction of what union workers were getting.
