One thing to be clear on not all field workers/truckers are uneducated trash. Its all about the way you act. If you are an unvaxxed hard-core MAGA person fighting for "freedom" (for the corporation and rich, just think about it when you are supporting management over average joes having a better life) then yeah you are probably trash.

@1rm

You’re the kind of person that thinks truckers are trash people but is the first to complain when the store is out of your $90 face moisturizer.

@wjt Good point. I’m tired of management’s pandering to field workers. In fact, I’m tired of management’s pandering in general.

I went to college so that I could make good money working in a comfortable setting. If some ditch-digger is jealous of that, well, that’s his problem. Go back to school.

I feel a bad case of long COVID coming on. Might have to sit it out for another six months to get to retirement.

Mask and vax all you want to make yourself feel good, but I don’t think the data supports that it does much besides your state of mind.

Good luck with taking that sick time. Per CDC guidance, you get 5 days to isolate and recover, then back to work in person. If you need more than that, you get to deal with Reed Group. Have fun!

Crude oil just went over $92/bbl. All hands on deck. Get back to the office and increase production. Let's get back to it. If we have a few causalities along the way, well that is the cost of doing business. Americans want their way of life maintained and we are here to serve.

I'll be wearing my mask for sure. You think any of these maskless red. necks aren't going to be spreading it around? I catch it at work ill be taking as much sick time as I need to get fully over it.

MW only wants control and no longer cares about saftey. Hes using excuses like "the field staff work in person and the office staff is worthless so you need to get in to make them feel better". Also having some locker room talk with da boys will solve all the serious morale and frustration issues. Those issues definitely are not related to Transformation and management decisions. Its all because we aren't spending hours commuting to work and hanging out with the team.

I'm fully vaxxed and plan to keep wearing my mask even in the office...but I live with immuno-compromised people who are at high risk should they be exposed. It burns my biscuits that Chevron is no longer even planning to provide tests for workers. The 4 tests I get from the gov't (for my entire household!) won't last long. So much for the corporation being committed to safety.

Just heard that HR GM is retiring because of RTW and burnout. What a cluster.
