Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

So much pressure in achieving the targets

The pressure is huge. Isn’t it too much to expect a very understaffed team to make such unrealistic numbers? I'm getting sick and tired of this company.

Honeywell made me make a change in June of 2020. 17 years of my life for that company. I honestly thought that I would retire from that place. Word of advice, muster up the courage to leave. You are better than that place and the people running it. Don't waste another second on missing out with your family thinking your gonna get that extra 2 percent on your review. You are all cattle to the higher powers out there. Get on indeed, you might just surprise yourself at the offers you will receive if you just get your resume out there. If you don't do it soon (leave), they will eventually do it for you. That goes for the rest of you reading this post, YOU ARE ALL BETTER THAN THAT PLACE!

meeting month end/quarter end goals is nothing new for Honeywell, or any other company for that matter. It has been that way for the last 20 years.

Me too. Never worked in a company with such a poor leadership. Number one mistake is that it is fully dependent on cheap off-shore r&d centres. DA Will resign in 2022. This performance is unacceptable..

Good news! It's a new quarter and everything you did for the last tree months is meaningless. Like it never happened unless you were under performing. Anyway, new quarter, new targets, even more unachievable.

Go git em Rover!

I havent needed this job in years. It is just amusing to watch everyone freak out about metrics goals and work in general. My advice is pay off the house, eliminate debt and then laugh when your boss asks for overtime. Tell him you will meet him at the lathe saturday at 6am and let him know how he can help. No show? Head home.

It's a rigged game. You'd have better luck playing ring toss.

If you've been waiting for a sign that it's time to move on, might this be it?
