Over 300 submitted request to be offered Voluntary Separation Benefit in CA. How does this affect the work force ? And how many will be offered? Any real information out there or just more opinions?

I think the original post was inquiring about real numbers that would be given VSB. At this point it is just a number that submitted the form to HR.
It was offered.
You are either new or clueless.
Go sharpen your pencils, clean your break room fridge, collaborate, and STFU.
So it was not solicited from the company?
"Hi I would like to quit if you give me a separation package"
Does not work that way, I would say the company should take the request as irrevocable notice and show them the door.
