Amazon is sending notices to employees

Amazon is informing their employees of their right to unionize. Walmart or Sams would never do that. They are treated better and paid far better than we are. If Amazon unionizes I say we need to unionize too. Why do we let them sc--w us around? When do we stand up to them?

I worked for Amazon for years. And other employers, all non-union. There was never, ever, the brain-washing anti union talk like there is at Sam's/Walmart. I am not saying I want a union, but the very first day, during orientation when they showed 3 different videos against unions was a seriously uncomfortable red flag. I still, to this day, find it odd and unsettling that they go to those lengths to push against anyone considering a union. No other job has ever even mentioned it. Ever. Whether they explain your rights to have one or not, there has never been unwarranted talk against them. Walmart/Sam's are scared of unions and trust me that it is NOT for our benefit. It is for their own. Wanting a union or not is personal, and only the majority can speak as individuals for themselves and their needs, but don't ever think the company has your best interests at heart when it comes to them being so vehemently against them.

Whether Amazon is being forced to inform their associates about unions or not, it's not as though they are trying to brainwash them against them. And say what you want about them, EVERY company has its faults, but Amazon at least tries to be a leader among corporations and above water when it comes to what they pay/compensate. Walmart/Sam's is forever behind. The last to give a crumb and never a full bite. Their benefits are not only cheaper to the employees, they are extremely better coverage. I was blown away when I saw Walmarts. It's cr-p. Gigantic deductibles, 75% coverage. What cr-p. If I still lived next to an Amazon anything, that is where I would be.

I don’t want anyone to represent me. Union dues are ridiculous and filing grievances is a joke. It takes months and months for grievances to be worked out. No thank you. Unionization is not what it’s made out to be.

you can obviously tell that they (walmart) is afraid of unions by the amount of effort they put to stop them also the negative comments about unions on here are from people that have never had a union job before and that’s a fact good luck
