So i guess this was all bark like usual? Didn’t see nor hear of any great influx of resignations post bonus
I used to get shivers in my spine when some at work would say "We're all like family here!". And then I got into corporate management and learned they tell us to give the employees a false sense of hope. They believe anything, they're not critical thinkers. They're Americans we were told.
I don't work in management anymore. Who work really want to work or live in the US empire and its' oligarchs unless they're ignorant, desperate, or d-mb?
I know of three people that have their resignation letters ready to send, post bonus payout.
Neither, I'm waiting to complete my degree this summer. If they keep me until then and I can move on to other things, great. I can throw my bonus at the student loans that I want out of my life. If I get laid off, OK. I'll use any severance to study and intern, and run to a temp agency if I have to. The temp agency may get me where I want to go anyway. I just hope they don't go the constructive dismissal route to avoid paying severance.

Layoff site with very little to no layoff talk. It’s all RTO and will you leave or the classic I left look at me.
Looking to leave, but won't accept just anything. Not that desperate (yet).
