Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I quit today

The last 6 months have been really thought and I lost all motivation to work at WF. Constant stress from unknown layoffs, increasing/ unbearable work load, non existent training, gaslighting, and the changes in my job duties

It really started to get to me mentally and physically. I’m glad to have walked away. I’m taking a chance but it feels so good to move on from Wells Fargo

Yes there are plenty of jobs just not the ones that are paying the $$$$ we want. Ones that are offering WFH are probably using it as leverage to pay a little less. So until you are out looking for a job and knowing what the market values YOU at you can’t speak for anyone else. If anyone thinks that they can bounce to a better job in a heartbeat and remaining at WF anyway. GIMME A BREAK. Keep telling yourself how valuable you are while you stay working at a company you think sucks. Doesn’t make a lot of sense or maybe you are lazy. For those that are looking or have left may be able to speak to that a little better. People starting their career should move to increase their pay 10k a pop for others i believe it when i see it.

Good for you! Ignore all the comments about waiting for 401(k) match and bonus. It you feel it was the right thing for you to do for yourself, that’s all that matters as you know your situation best. Things will definitely get better - you said it feels so good to have moved on, so already that’s a great start!

As long as you are employed in the 15th of December, you are eligible fur 401k matching. It's in the policy.

Tech probably not affected but yeah, did you not wait for the 401k match? Bonus is 6 weeks away, can’t wait for that? Money on the table!

Good for you! You did the right thing. I can't wait to leave either. It will be very soon.

To the character who wrote "Good. One down, TOO many of you to go". Sounds like you are unemployable and cannot leave. If you cannot get out of WF in this job market, you are eiher dead weight contributing nothing. Or, you have 0 skills to offer a new employer. Anyone can get a job in this market with almost no skills, companies will hire anyone with a pluse. You should spend less time on this board and learn some marketable skills. Being dead weight is not a career.
