Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What will happen to Wells Fargo stock in 2022?

What's your prediction? Let' say, how much will one share of Wells Fargo stock cost in December 2022?

@1gub+1eqIsueN, I fear you are correct.

Maybe $25, and on its way down. It will be even more obvious by then that one of our political parties no longer intends to respect election results (easier to float conspiracy theories than ask why people aren’t buying what you’re selling). Once rule of law is broken, free markets don’t function well. The economy will tank, as will….well, everything. Our 245 year experiment, and the mighty economic engine it spawned, will be over soon. Feel free to scoff. All I ask is that you remember reading this.

"will go up to battle inflation". Haha, that's definitely how it works. Good one. And they say that tellers aren't funny.

Hmmm...bleeding out assets as loan balances decrease and lifting the asset cap is years away. Probably flat’ish due to expense cuts. At some point though if you don’t grow the business and fix regulatory issues the stock will get crushed. Do you think the board and C-Suite is capable of this? I sold all my stock at $52 and sleep much better.

Guys, as we learned from this site, you need $10 mill to retire. As such all stocks are underperforming at this time and all will dramatically go up to battle inflation. Should be $450 in the future, minimum 2x value by eoy.

I still kept my shares in WF. I figure it is still a depressed stock. Potential “Company sells” yeh price doubles or B. It can’t get much worse (i guess it could) but i will take overall stability. I would have said the market can’t get any higher and it keeps going up up and away. Still pulling back and rebalancing. I am moderate conservative but i keep my Wells portion where it is.

Stable (not because of the company’s performance, just because of market forces) or down (because We are Wells Fargo).

Not much. There will likely be a blip if/when FRB restrictions and consent orders are lifted, but some of that is already baked onto pricing, so yeah, slow growth at best.

It's gonna bump a bit when they do all the 401k contributions and then crash when everyone moves it to something better.
