About time we stop wasting money on Xandr. I'm sure Microsoft will make it profitable where as AT&T couldn't.

Should not have sold it for a penny less than 3B. Talk about a fire sale price.
I think this information qualifies for this site as it impacts over 1200 employees.
Let me guess: The Stink will get another eight figure bonus for brokering the sale. The Stink needs more $.

Terms of the sale just came out. Looks like T sold it for $1billion. T bought AppNexus for $1.6bil, poured in $100+ million more. Wonder if the Xandr employees get to keep their company paid Apple watches and home office furniture? Remember when leadership said it would be a mini google? Good that T is getting back in its own lane and stick with wireless and networking. Hope it isn't too late to get back in the race!
Why no Intel on the price Microsoft paid for Xander? What did T fetch for this sale?

I believe there was some tech and intellectual property that was very attractive, but we had no use for it in the end. MS should do well with it.
Xandr was never going to go anywhere, I'm sure this "sale" to Microsoft was more of a behind the scenes deal (exchange) to have T use more and more MSFT cloud services /products.
Think about it, what does MSFT who already has plenty of online advertising presence need with a little known marketing division?
