Seeing lots of posts on LinkedIn where offshore are posting and thanking WF for merchandise sent to them. Where is the stuff for US teams?

I would not wear the WF swag in the states. Im afraid of being attacked by an employee or customer whom we've robbed.
Did you know India and Philippines get equivalent buying power? They might be 1/5 the cost of a US worker, they have the same or better local buying power. Welcome to the global economy. What's wage suppression for one is a raise for another.
A lot of us have had internet reimbursements taken away. Same with corporate cell phones.
@vto+1eoos8VJ that may be but it is very, very funny. It made me laugh.
Note that if you do get WF to reimburse your internet, it's basically their internet. Anything you do on it (po-n, mp3, juarez, etc...) is on their property, and you're liable for how it legally affects the company.
It's a double-edged sword.
You can get your internet bill reimbursed for your work usage. There is a form you can submit, and they will approve it.
Who the h*ll wants Shameware?
"The same reason the Pilgrims were able to buy Manhattan for some beads and blankets..."
That is so wrong.
They also get their internet reimbursed for working at home. How come this isn’t happening for those in the US?
I’m stateside in Charlotte and they just sent me a free blanket. Maybe it’s by bus. line? I kinda thought it was a warning. LOL
Nobody else wants it.
Its ok - all the sh-t is made in China
I really don't want to wear or display anything that has Wells Fargo on it
Don't they make $3/hr? Would you prefer to be paid in stuffed ponies too?
I'm not at WF for empty, cheap baubles....I want money! It's a JOB! I got all the pats on the back I needed as a child from my mommy.
The inferiority complex never ends with this guy.
6 years ago on my first day i was presented with a box of swag. Pins a banner to pin them on, a mug and a pony. I went home that day wondering what the heck i had gotten myself into. Kindergarten or a respected financial services provider.
I Left this year
The swag was a sign i should have listened to my gut instinct and gotten out sooner
We stateside have learned to be nonplussed by anything but $. Smoke and mirrors and parlor tricks don’t work in rich countries.
The same reason the Pilgrims were able to buy Manhattan for some beads and blankets...
Offshore workers are genuinely grateful for the swag, whereas every US worker world take a cynical s--t all over it.
