Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Merit at 3.5% is….laughable

Overheard that they are planning 3.5% merit…is this supposed to keep employees at US Bank? We are in the midst of great resignation and you can literally get 15-20% increase elsewhere and work remote.

Every employee at USB has an opportunity for a great 2022! How does happiness, respect, family/life balance, 20% raise sound? 2022 New Year's resolution, update and send out resume.

  1. 5 for the average dude. The brownnosing TOS witches (S Levang) and weasels (K Witherspoon) will secure a juicy bonus by making others look bad so they get 1% or nothing. If you've seen the Dilbert strips and books, you will be surprised at how much of the corporate satire is identical to US bank mo--nic management. They will do this systemically until it's their time to retire. And JVG is ok with this... the little guy is worthless at this misery of organization.

At USB, each year is another year for management to take advantage of your skills with the lowest possible pay for your efforts. This company is a fake, woke, place to spend your working days.

Enjoy the extra work, as the flood of quality, senior people start leaving, once the bonus hits their bank account. When their untrained, replacements arrive, you can train them too in addition to doing the work of those that have left. In 2022, after you work harder than you have ever worked before in your career, you can enjoy another miserable bonus and raise. It's so rewarding working at USB, if you don't mind poor recognition and pay.

You cannot do worse than USB for a job.

Does HR realize inflation is way above 3.5%??… we are far below what we were making prior to inflation. Keeping ship afloat screwing the employees once again.
