Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

How much of a raise would keep you here for a while longer?

I don’t believe anyone would be satisfied with less than 6%, but we should be realistic.

Too toxic for any raise to be worth. Covid vax mentality made the environment even worse.

2020 = 0%
2021 = 2%
Actual inflation rate per year = >7%
So 12% would normally keep me here, except for the toxic work environment isn't worth it.

Not even a 50% pay bump can keep me here. As soon as find the right fit somewhere else, I'm gone.

I don't need a raise. I'll stay if they will just leave me the heII alone and let me do my job.
I've been micro managed more in the past 2 years than the previous 35+ years combined.
I don't need some kid that wasn't even born when I started here overseeing my every move.

I will stay if Honeywell publishes the salary and benefits of every Director and above including stock and expenses.

Never going to happen at HW, they are not capable of giving that much to employees for those they are working to eliminate. I was part of the first wave of COVID layoffs after 13 years as a Director with raises in the 3 to 4 % range as an upper 9 block performer and of course all the times merits were pulled back and reduced. I think I calculated an average of 2% over 10 years which is ridiculous. Combined with the silly health care costs. I'm in the transportation industry and I received a 5% bump in the first 6 months and health care is way more reasonable with better coverage. It makes me realize the low priority HW puts on its employees and how terrible the overall package is. Atleast now, I don't feel like MM or DA have their hands in my pocket and I feel valued at my new company.

A 15% bump in pay along with medical insurance premiums 1/2 the cost of Honeywell along with $1,500 deductible was enough to get me to LEAVE Honeywell for another company several months ago. My new company also encourages work from home and even pays for home premium internet service through an expense allowance.

As an fpga engineer there is nothing that will keep me.
Call me back as a contractor if you need my services.
I know you cant afford my salary.
