Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Has turnover always been like this?

I came here in 2019 and when I first came this place didn’t seem so bad to me.

I think at that time there wasn't such a large turnover or maybe there was, but I did not notice because I was new here?

Now I don't bother to meet new coworkers anymore because many leave only a few days after they are hired.

In the year 2000 my employee number was in the upper 900's. Now the newest hire has a number of 2700. A difference of 1800 new hires in 22 years. There's your turnover

short answer is no, at one time we were the company that paid the best in retail, we'd open reqs and have 20 apps in a few days. We used to interview 3 people for every 1 job (imagine choosing the best workers instead of...welp...a willing body).

I have been with the company for over 12 years. Our turnover is huge. I don't bother to get to know the new people because before you know it they are gone.
