Railroads Want Taxpayers to Police Their Trains

UP hasn’t threatened to leave LA, that is a major terminal for them and they would take a huge financial hit by doing this. Please research what you post before putting out nonsense.

If you read the article it clearly states that 100+ people have been arrested and quickly released due to reforms. Not a single one has been to trial.

The cure is to learn how to run a railroad where you don't stop high value trains, you keep them moving. Trying to jump on a moving train at 50 mph usually ends badly.

Can't be anymore stolen than they destroy themselves in day to day flatswitch operations. Cuts across the board has just made a joke out of this railroad!
