Thread regarding Norfolk Southern Corp. layoffs

when i was hired years ago, i had big aspirations, then it came down to just wanting a job. ive moved on over two years ago, but for me the sting is still there. hope these robber barons learn a lesson eventually. they really ruined a lot of things for a lot of people. enjoy that second yacht, it's on us.

Just another lying phuck bag CEO. They always start out trying to say the right thing but we all know it’s going to be the same o’l B.S. Who the he-l is going to want to work here in the future? Seems like we’re going backwards oh well I’m getting ready to quit Bellevue sucks!

I am happy to say , I am officially finished with NS…. Good riddance and God speed to those wishing to escape a he-l whole , In what used to be a good job ….good luck to the rest of you.

More of the same, he will say or do anything to appease the shareholders! We are going the way of Conrail. If trends continue we will be operated by the feds or split up for the other roads. Either way is fine with me!

PSR took away everything and anything that made this place even a little more efficient. Employees, rides, jobs, utility brakeman, locomotives and parts, mechanical Employees, dispatchers, etc. It's different in every department but all the same.

Norfolk Southern's main job is not hauling freight , that sounds like a boss, their main job is paying the stock holders at all cost. oh yeah and our worthless CEO and unions

Guess what, Norfolk Southern's main business is hauling freight, not repairing locomotives, or freight cars, or track work, they and other railroads would rather contract out that work, it's done cheaper and no liability.

PSR didn’t cause ALL the problems, only a large percentage of them.

The only employees they think they have are conductors, engineers and supervisors. They want rid of everyone else.
