I worked at a Sams club in the Detroit market. I am surprised they are still open. They use to use the plunger from the public restrooms to plunge out the rotisserie ovens when they would get plugged up and backed up. The club manager said, its no big deal because the ovens get hot enough to burn off any bacteria. I should have reported this to Department of Agriculture. This is the way the Detroit market is. I would never by fresh items from Sam's.

I knew there was a reason in my 25 years working here I never ever bought a Chicken or meat from the club. So GROSS !!!
Spending $5 on a designated plunger for the rotisserie ovens might bankrupt the club. Duh.
Sounds like Novi club.
“The new clubs are located in Owasso, Okla., Fall River, Mass., and Mansfield and Corpus Christi, Texas. The latter is a relocation of a 20 year old club. These opening follow the addition of three new clubs earlier in the month in Aiken, S.C., Romeoville, Ill., and Edmond, Okla.
September was also a busy month for Sam’s with the opening on two new clubs in Harker Heights, Texas and New Rock Hill, S.C., and the relocation of clubs in Houston and Anchorage to new locations.”
They should have a drain plunger for use in ovens only. Either way, the manager is correct, the ovens run close to 500 degrees which will ki-l anything living. Ingenuity at its finest.
It's called flavoring Bro. Now you know what that nice brown crisp exterior of the chicken is...
No new club since 2007 that is a lie my club opened in 2015 in Mooresville nc they open a new one in Texas city tx in 2014 they open one in Pearland tx in 2015 to and I bet they are more.
Costco’s opening 28 stores this year. They open new clubs every year. Sam’s hasn’t open a new one since 2007.
No way! Gross.
AGREED
Hate Sam’s. They need to close another 1/3 of there stores and get to 200. Walmart not any better.
