Anyone know? Wouldn’t put it past the leeches in HR to pull something like that….honestly I would be fine giving no notice and just walking out if that’s the case

It’s another way that the bank screws over it’s employees. First they pushed out the bonus payout date last year. Not to give people their bonuses if they’re not working at the time of payout is a joke! The bonus is based on your employment for 2021 not this year. Give people what they worked for! But what can you expect from a company that has shown more and more that they do not care about their employees……..
Most people wait on seeing the bonus in their bank account and then put in your notice. Annual event here. Sad for those left behind. The extra work will be divided up amongst the people left behind.
The official answer: Must be still employed by Feb 25th to receive the bonus. If leave anytime before, they can pull it back or demand it back.
Do not give any notice before the 25th. They can terminate you (and they have as many will testify) the day you submit a notice, especially if you reveal your new gig is working for a competitor.
I think that your manager can override your not getting your bonus. I know of someone who left the bank prior to payout and their manager pulled some strings for them to get their bonus on their last paycheck in February. Bonus info gets put into workday earlier than we think.
You will receive bonus if still actively employed on bonus deposit date, regardless of 2 week notice.
Pretty sure you’re supposed to get bonus if you gave notice but are still employed at bonus date as far as I know. However I wouldn’t put it past HR to stiff you.
No bonus. You have to be actively employed on the day it’s paid out to receive it. If you give notice you won’t get anything.
Anyone from HR that can verify? You are technically an employee during the notice period, right? Shouldn’t that qualify you for the bonus?
Got to be a special piece of work to even think of leaving or giving notice before that bonus hit direct deposit

HR is sc-m. Don’t give notice otherwise anything (bonus, 401k, HSA match) will be taken away
If you give notice prior to the Wednesday before the payday (the day your paycheck shows in Workday) they will pull it back, even if already communicated. Any notice prior to that paycheck hitting your account and you will likely not receive it. They have every right to withhold it.
What if you’re an employee at bonus time but you already gave your notice though. Would you still get it?
Happened to a friend of mine. His manager did not even make him aware of, if he left prior to the bonus payout date he would not be eligible. A horrible thing to do to an employee.
Every place I know of does the same. If you are not an employee on the day the bonus pays out, then you are not eligible to receive the bonus. The bonus is for employees.
